Fashion this urn into your own custom fountain. Considered by Wright to be one of his best constructions the Allen residence inspired the creation of the Allen urn. Built in 1917 for the governor of Kansas, Henry Allen, this home was one of the last of his Prairie House designs. The Allen House garden was designed by Wright and was an integral part of the architectural landscape. The garden featured reflecting ponds and the Allen House urns were placed through to garden. The Allen House vase was thus created as a component a garden with built in water features. The vase is an example of Wright’s ardent use of geometric forms and the round planters were positioned on low square pedestals.
You can customize this garden planter into a stunning outdoor water fountain. This fountain can be made with or without spillways. Without spillways, the water will spill over the entire top rim. Water can be directed to flow in one or more streams with the addition of spillways. This fountain is sure to accent your garden decor with grace and style. Choose from five standard colors or contact us for custom colors. See the example of the custom Allen Fountian on this page.
