All merchandise is carefully inspected prior to packaging and again when given to the carrier. At that point, the carrier assumes responsibility for safe delivery. Protection during Installation
Although Cast Stone is very hard and durable it can be damaged by hard metal tools and the like. Care should be taken during installation to avoid direct contact with such objects. The Frank Lloyd Wright stonework and other items have distinct edges and corners and special attention should give to protect these features.
Drainage: Drain holes in planters must be used. Spacers will be provided to apply under the planter which will lift the planter about ¼ to 1/8 inches above a level surface.
Surface: A solid level surface is recommended.
Pedestals: The base of the planters and garden fountains should be secured with epoxy or waterproof masonry mortar.
Cleaning: A mild soap and water are sufficient for basic cleaning. Sandblasting is not recommended for cleaning Cast Stone. Also, metal cleaning utensils or any item containing metal fibers should not be used. Pressure washing can be used at low-pressure settings but avoid prolonged periods of washing and use sparingly.
If you would like your Cast Stone to take on a natural patina, no cleaning is needed.
